3rd Ave Burlington Donates to the Burlington Education Foundation Over $5,200 Donated from the Taste of 3rd Ave

3rd Ave, the dining, entertainment, and home goods heart of Burlington, has once again donated the proceeds from the annual Taste of 3rd Ave event to a local Burlington community initiative, this time the recipient was the Burlington Education Foundation. On Saturday June 10th, 3rd Ave hosted the Third Annual Taste of 3rd Ave, where for a small donation participants got an “around-the-world” experience of 3rd Ave including food samplings, discounts and giveaways from each retailer. The Taste of 3rd Ave attracted over 530 guests bringing the donation total to $5,267.60.

“We are delighted to make this donation of over $5,200 to the Burlington Education Foundation,” stated Peter Nordblom, President of Nordblom Company. “We have been involved with this organization on numerous occasions and fully support all they do for the Burlington Community.”

“The Burlington Education Foundation would not be as successful if not for our community business partners like Nordblom and the businesses on 3rd Ave. We are so thankful for this donation. We are thrilled to be involved in our thriving community and helping to make a difference in Burlington Public Schools,” said Paula Boermeester, President of the Burlington Education Foundation.

Called the “South End of the Suburbs” by the Boston Globe, 3rd Ave features five independent and high-end eateries, five unique home good stores along with many other retail and service shops. For more information about 3rd Ave, visit www.3rdAveBurlington.com.
