60 Blanchard

In 2019, Nordblom Company purchased 60 Blanchard Road, a single-story 50,300 square-foot building with premium frontage along Route 128. Formerly home to DataCon, Nordblom redeveloped the building using its existing footprint, and repositioned it as a Life Science destination.

In summer 2021, Azzur Group—a leading solution provider dedicated to helping life science innovators start, scale and sustain their GxP organizations—occupied the entire space. With over 25,000 square feet of cGMP-compliant space and related services designed to accelerate early-phase manufacturing capabilities, 60 Blanchard Road serves as Azzur Group’s largest Cleanrooms on DemandTM facility.

25-27 Blue Sky Drive

In an effort to accommodate an influx of Life Science companies to Burlington and the surrounding area, Nordblom Company sought special permits to develop this previously untouched 9-acre into a state-of-the-art 270,000 square-foot lab, cGMP and office location.

Working alongside some of the top Life Science architects and engineers, Nordblom devised a three-story space, suitable for two tenants, which will be occupied by companies Vericel and The Broad Institute.

Washington on the Square

This high-rise building, located at 1600 Beacon Street, involved the successful conversion of older apartments to modern condominiums. The scope of this opportunistic investment included the comprehensive redesign of the exterior entrance to contemporary interior finishes and amenities, attracting both Gen Y and professional medical clientele as buyers. Featuring a modern lobby with concierge, the property offers an exercise facility, laundry center, outdoor patio/cookout area, and a newly expanded garage.

This opportunity was designed in partnership with SGA Architects of Boston, and the market-leading technology contractor The Richmond Group.

100 Endicott

This landmark corporate headquarters building overlooking Route 128 had been home to OSRAM/Sylvania for more than 30 years. Nordblom closed on this building and simultaneously leased-back 156,500 SF to the seller. As part of this transaction, Nordblom committed to the complete reconstruction of all OSRAM tenant areas, and the replacement of the base building MEP systems. This multi-phased project was managed with more than 600 OSRAM employees on site. Nordblom then repositioned the asset for multi-tenant occupancy, ultimately re-zoned for medical use, and sold to Partners Healthcare with Nordblom continuing to manage this property.
