BURLINGTON, MA – Nordblom Company, a leading real estate development and management firm, is pleased to announce the successful execution of leases totaling more than 300K SF at three of their commercial environments in Burlington and Bedford Massachusetts. Continuing the momentum of life science and technology activity in the region and following more than 300K SF of life science leasing in its portfolio in 2022, Nordblom’s latest deals encompass a diverse range of innovative companies specializing in medical AI development, advanced optics technology, medical devices, clean energy, 3D printing and medical imaging.
At Blue Sky Center, a 1.2M SF state-of-the-art innovation campus, Nordblom worked alongside Newmark to execute a 47,578 SF lease with Nth Cycle, an advanced metals processing and recycling company. Nth Cycle is relocating its corporate and R&D headquarters, supported by the campus’ existing infrastructure and premiere amenity offerings to attract high-caliber talent. Newmark also completed a lease for United Imaging Intelligence (UII) comprising 7,397 SF of office space for the Shanghai-based medical artificial intelligence company relocating from Cambridge.
Nordblom secured an additional 200K SF of leasing at Northwest Park across a handful of new and renewal transactions. This includes Envision Energy, a forward-thinking hydrogen energy technology company, that will occupy 35,276 SF of R+D space. Envision Energy will join an esteemed roster of tenants at the Park, including Abbott Laboratories, LeMaitre Vascular, Partners Healthcare, Desktop Metal, Vulcan Forms, Viken Detection and many others. Northwest Park, strategically located at the intersection of Route 3 and I-95, has become a thriving hub for high-tech, clean energy, medical device and additive manufacturing companies, solidifying its reputation as a go-to destination for businesses in these sectors. The 100+ acre park offers a wealth of walkable amenities including Life Time, Archer Hotel, Wegmans, luxury apartment homes, and the popular retail and dining destination 3rd Ave.
“We are delighted to witness robust leasing activity, as we attract these cutting-edge, high-tech companies and experience a surge in demand for space within this thriving suburban submarket,” expressed Crosby Nordblom, Senior Vice President of Nordblom Company. “The availability of first-class amenities, the versatile functionality of our assets to accommodate diverse business requirements, and the scalability of our environments position us perfectly to cater to the needs of today’s evolving users,
as well as anticipate and address the future demands.”
At neighboring 201 Burlington Road, Lantheus Medical Imaging, a global leader in developing, manufacturing, selling, and distributing innovative diagnostic imaging agents, opted to extend an existing office lease of 46,526 SF and expanded their footprint by taking 41,705 SF of lab space.
