3rd Ave, the dining, entertainment, and home goods heart of Burlington, has donated the proceeds from their Grand Opening events to People Helping People and the Burlington Fire Department. On Friday September 11th, 3rd Ave hosted the 3rd Ave Mix-Off. All the proceeds were donated to the Burlington Fire Department. On Saturday September 12th, 3rd Ave hosted the Taste of 3rd Ave, where participants got an “around-the-world” experience of 3rd Ave including samplings from each restaurant. All the proceeds were donated to People Helping People (The Burlington Food Pantry).

“We are delighted to make these donations to People Helping People and the Burlington Fire Department,” stated Peter Nordblom, President of Nordblom Company. “We have been involved with both organizations on numerous occasions and fully support all they do for the Burlington Community.”

“A very generous donation from Nordblom Company that will come in handy during the holiday season” noted Dan DiTucci, Co-Chair of People Helping People.

“The Burlington Fire Department would like to take the opportunity to thank Nordblom for partnering with the Town of Burlington, specifically the Fire Department, and thank them for their donation” said Steve Yetman, Chief of Burlington Fire Department.
